Rafa is crafted from a traditional nahua—a wool fabric handwoven by artisans in Chiapas, emblematic of Mexican textile legacy. Reinterpreted as a cape, the piece rests lightly over the shoulders, allowing the artisanal weight to define its own gravity. A sculptural drop at the back creates volume and a soft, balloon-like shape from the sides, evoking movement even in stillness. At the front, two vertical openings aligned precisely with the hands offer subtle functionality, maintaining the integrity of the form while inviting interaction.
